Vikings draft NC State LB Audie Cole

The Vikings selected North Carolina State linebacker Audie Cole in the seventh round, the 210th overall pick.

The 6-foot-5, 239-pound Cole can play inside or outside linebacker. Cole led the Wolfpack with 107 tackles last season.  He also registered five and a half sacks to go along with four pass-breakups. For his career, Cole tallied 276 tackles, 14 sacks, eight PBU's and one interception.

Cole was recruited as a quarterback out of high school.  He was a Rivals two-star prospect.
