UNDER THE RADAR: Shea McClellin, DE/OLB, Boise St.

Despite not getting a lot of attention from draft analysts, Shea McClellin is turning heads in the NFL scouting milieu.  The small town farmhand has an indefatigable motor and an impressive skill set.  He proved versatile while playing at BSU, having spent time at defensive end, outside linebacker, inside linebacker and even a hybrid in nickel.  He projects as a OLB in a 3-4 defense at the the next level.  At 6-foot-3, 260-lbs he possesses ideal size for the position and has intriguing edge-rushing ability.  During his last two seasons at Boise, he had 80 total tackles (26 for loss) and 16 1/2 sacks.  Disruptive and intelligent, he is very much the type of player a team can insert into the line-up and never have to worry about his effort.  With 3-4 defenses always looking for outside edge-rushers, I predict that McClellin will be taken a lot sooner than he is being projected at and will not make it out of the first-round with teams like Houston, New England, and Green Bay being likely landing spots for the Bronco.
