Lombardi: Most NFL teams grade Blackmon as a No.2-type WR

There are more teams that grade Oklahoma State wide receiver as a No.2-type receiver than as a true No.1 according to Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network.

"This is not to say he's a poor player, but he is not a rare talent, not overwhelmingly special," said Lombardi. Blackmon may develop into a No. 1, but it is a fact that many teams around the NFL consider him more of a possession receiver than double team-commanding vertical threat.

To put this in perspective, teams said the same thing about WR Julio Jones in last year's draft. The Atlanta Falcons traded up to No.6 to draft him despite those pessimistic projections and Jones had a stellar rookie year.
